What is car servicing?

When should you book a car service?

There are two main types of services an interim service which is recommended every 6 months or 6,000 miles and a full service which is recommended every 12 months or 12,000 miles. You may also notice a service light appear on your dashboard in the shape of a spanner.

What does car servicing involve?

Below, are some of the checks included in a car service, such as:

  • Ensuring your engine is ‘tuned’ to run in its peak condition

  • Testing the car’s battery condition
